- April 30, 2018 — Time to scout for weevils and weeds. In the northeast, it’s time to start monitoring of pests. Annual Bluegrass Weevil and weeds will begin to emerge, but scouting is the key to proper control. This is also a strategic time to use stress as a tool to prepare turf for the summer.
